Scope of work:  Project details will include, all window sills, banding, brackets, peak and roof ridge line detail, 

gables and arch sections.

In order to avoid mortar joints and allow for a more seamless look, all Peaks as well as 

mid-ridge to top-ridge joint sections and return ends pre-cast to top ridge section were all 

cast in one piece and it also adds strength to the units. Custom holes were pre-cast to allow for pins.

 

Colour: Standard Grey. No colour added.

Customer:  CAP Brick  - Burlington, Ontario.
 
Scope of work:  Supply Benabec Architectural cast stone elements as per customer specifications for window sills, arched surrounds, headers and keystones.

Project: Tytler School - Guelph, Ontario.           
 Customer:  Empire Restoration  New Hamburg.
 
Scope:  To replicate and manufacture cast stone capping and banding as per sample supplied by customer.
Several site visits were required to consult on process and overall requirements of  the School Board.
Drawings and colour  to be used were submitted for approval prior to being manufactured.
 
Colour:  Match as close as possible to existing stone on the building.

Project:  Private Home

Customer:  Building Developer.

 

Scope: Supply Benabec Architectural Elements with profiles chosen by the customer from our catalogue for the window sills, window arch, front door entry surround, garage door header and keystones.

As well the customer required custom step treads for the front stairs.

Hespeler Library, Cambridge ON

 

PROJECT :   Hespeler Library Restoration/Reproduction – Cambridge Ontario.

 

CUSTOMER:  Devonshire Resotration – Kitchener ON.

 

SCOPE :   The  project architect designed an extention to the existing front door surround that will now become a window with the header being replicated at the bottom.

 

The project involved Benabec Architectural Products reproducing the existing surround and header.

No dimensional profile drawings were supplied. On- site measurements had to be taken from existing elements which were of various dimensions due to age and un-uniform mold work used at the time ( circa 1922 ).

 

Colour and texture match required. exture had to be added to the mould in order replicate aging and wear.

Sample cast stone section supplied to architect for approval prior to production.

 

Overall size of elements ;  reproduction side surround sections 15.5” w x 62” long

                                 

                                     ;  reproduction bottom header section  15.5” w x 98” long

 

 

Additional architectural element segments such as window sills, lintels and banding of the Library were also in need of restoration and reproduction and were carried out on an as needed basis. 

 

Each item required on site measurements and custom mould work.

 

 

 

Wallenstein Bible Chapel, Wallenstein ON

 

PROJECT:   Wallenstein Bible Chapel addition, approx 20,000 sqft.     

 

CUSTOMER: Frey Building Contractors - Hawkesville On. - General Contractor.

 

SCOPE:    Design specified 10 gothic arched style windows and 1 rectangular window.  

Customer chose Benabec Architectures “ Soper Series “ Sills and Surrounds for the project.

 

Gothic style arched windows ranged in size from 10 to 13 feet in height with a standard width of 3 feet each.   Maximum surround leg section length – 5 feet.

 

Rectangular window - 9 feet wide by 5 feet in height.

 

Colour:  standard grey.

 

Texture: standard Benabec cast stone finish.
